Wines of Abruzzo such as Montepulciano, Cerasuolo, and Trebbiano, or coffee torrefacted by Marcafè, a historic firm in Giulianova, are gastronomic souvenirs to take to loved ones and friends. The extra virgin oil recovered from the olive groves of the surrounding hillsor the Ratafia, traditional black cherry liqueur, with which toasts were made in notary’s offices after ratifying a deed (hence the name), are also a must-have, stocking up on genuine and delicious products.
